The Douglas Wedding - Reach Court Farm, Kent
Boy do I miss living by the sea, and everything about this wedding made me nostalgic about my hometown in Deal, Kent.
Rosie & Alfie have been together for years, and along with their pug Keith* they were so pumped to celebrate marriage with their friends and family.
*Keith was pretty anxious to be completely honest but did SO well in front of the camera!
Reach Court Farm I now rate as one of the best venues in Kent: they were so thoughtful towards Rosie & Alfie, were 100% accommodating to me as a supplier and their communication was next to none. As a vegan supplier the food can sometimes be a bit hit and miss that I receive, but this was enough to want to go back for more and that is a massive compliment.
This venue welcomed in an array of arrival cars including a Ford Mustang, VW Camper Van and an old Buick which all thankfully ran smooth as anything. What none of us were prepared for was the blistering heat of one of the hottest days of 2022! Rosie & Alfie were cool as cucumbers though - smiling and laughing their way through vows, listening to heartfelt readings and drinking lots to stay hydrated.
Midway through the day I spotted the owner of the horses giving them a hose off on the hot day - I managed to persuade them to leave a bucket of carrots for the bride and groom to feed the horses later that night! What a special memory!
This was a day that was very warm, but the love in the room was enough to warm the coldest person at the end of the day.
Rosie & Alfie, you are one special couple.
All my love, Tom Keenan Photography
