The Broadbridge Wedding - East Quay
When you think of wind on a wedding day you think "windswept and interesting" - this was more "blowing the cobwebs, and veil away" which you'll see what I mean when you see the confetti shots! This gnarly weather made for a fantastic, bracing British wedding at East Quay in Whitstable. It was awesome.
Jo & Kris, a pair of adventurers who met over 9 years ago have faced lots together: from dates in Thundercats t-shirts, to getting engaged in Disneyland, to facing some health scares post-covid. These two really are rocks for each other.
Anybody like music here? Well, the Broadbridge's have arguably the best taste in music I have experienced out of any wedding I have shot. Even with spotify & a DJ set you could tell they were all about the Indie vibe (we're talking Arctic Monkeys, Duran Duran, Jack Johnson etc etc).
Despite the face-changing weather, Jo & Kris were great sports getting out for the couple shoot, plus a sunset shoot too!
Fish & Chips were served (& Banana Blossom for us vegans) and the atmosphere for the day was full of gratitude and ease.
Jo & Kris - your authenticity towards one another and your family is inspirational in the face of mountains and valleys. I have great respect for you both as you have leant on one another and celebrated with each other as you became husband and wife.
I pray that your joy increases and your love for adventure persists - keep up the good music, keep loving each other like you do.
